Tucked right off Woodside in the heart of Lakeside, there’s a buzzing local hub that’s quickly proving to be a must-visit: Lakeside Social. Whether you’re looking for a morning pick-me-up, a hearty breakfast, or a relaxed spot to catch up with a friend, this coffee, food, and drink joint delivers an absolutely fantastic environment.
Stepping inside, you’re immediately greeted by a great vibe. The interior perfectly balances chic modern design with welcoming comfort—think sleek dark accents, warm pendant lighting, and stylish teal chairs that invite you to sit down and stay a while. It’s the kind of bustling, lively atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like part of the neighborhood.
One of the first things you’ll notice is the sheer variety on their menu. The sprawling black-and-gold menu boards boast a massive amount of choices. From classic espresso pulls and signature drinks to vibrant fruit smoothies, acai bowls, and towering breakfast sandwiches, there is truly something to satisfy every craving.
During my visit, I ordered a custom chai tea made with oat milk. It was perfectly crafted—spicy, creamy, and deeply comforting. But the real showstopper of the morning was the food. I went with the avocado toast, customized “with the works”—piled high with fresh veggies and topped off with savory, crispy bacon. Not only did it taste incredible, but the portion size was generous enough to easily split with a friend (though it’s so good, you might want to keep it all to yourself!).
Looking around at the other tables, it’s clear the kitchen doesn’t skimp on anything. The golden, flaky croissant sandwiches and perfectly toasted bagel stacks coming out of the kitchen looked just as hearty and delicious as my toast.
